«On April 20, 2020, GOT7 released their new mini album titled "DYE", a play on words between the words "dye" and "die" in English that refer to "dying" a reality with colors and death in relationship to eternal love, thus, the album represents a "promise of permanent love" towards its fans, which is why much of the aesthetic and visual content that accompanies the project is based on the play "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare. Musically, "DYE" incorporates musical genres spanning various branches of synth-pop, trap, house, jazz, R&B and jazz.»
